Pride is in our name for a reason.
Since 2005, we’ve watched the beautiful landscapes of the Pacific Northwest face growing challenges. As stewards of the land, we believe it’s our responsibility to help preserve and protect the places we call home. Every property we work on reflects our respect for the land and our commitment to restoring the natural beauty and balance of Mother Nature.
OUR SERVICES

Brush Clearing
At TerraPride, we do brush clearing differently. This is an excellent option when the land will be repurposed below the topsoil layer. This process removes stumps and roots below grade. Our team uses advanced techniques to safely and efficiently clear the land. Where TerraPride differs from other clearing contractors is in the end product. We rake the land and either dispose of or mulch the roots, leaving a beautifully finished property. Leaving behind unsightly piles of debris simply isn't our style.

Forestry Mulching
Forestry mulching is a more environmentally sensitive service as compared to land or brush clearing. and by design clears and maintains overgrown areas without causing soil erosion. We utilize state-of-the-art equipment to mulch trees, shrubs, and other vegetation, leaving behind a nutrient-rich layer of mulch to support new growth.

Homeless Camp Clean-Up
Lets face it. While some compassion is due to homeless people, the trash left behind is a health and safety hazard, not to mention a devaluation of your property. Let us facilitate the legal removal of individuals, clean up the mess and create a park like setting from a disaster area.

Commercial Land Clean-Up
For commercial real estate firms and property managers, our service restores and maintains overgrown land so it’s ready to market, show, or sell. We maintain the property and boundaries and can set brightly colored boundary posts with reflective tips for easy identification. We deliver fast, reliable brush removal, homeless debris, and restore the property, which enhances curb appeal, protects asset value, and shortens time-to-sale — making us the go-to cleanup partner for commercial properties that must look their best.

Logging Slash/Residue Clean-Up
Forest debris left behind from logging, wind, snow or other natural forest disturbances can pose navigation and safety hazards, especially when stumps and trees are left on roads and paths. Terra Pride can clean up forested lands so they can be enjoyed for generations to come. This may include the entire forested area or just maintaining and clearing roads and trails.

Questions we get often.
-
Do you charge by the hour, day or job?
-
We quote every job by the project, so you’ll always know exactly what to expect—no hourly guessing games. When it makes sense, we’ll bring in multiple machines to get your land cleared faster and more efficiently. What might take days with one machine can often be done in just a few hours with a full crew. Our team brings years of experience and a sharp eye for detail to every project, making sure your property looks its best and stays within budget. The price in your contract is the price you pay—no surprises, no hidden fees. And if something ever runs over, that’s on us. We take it as an opportunity to learn, grow, and deliver even better results next time.
-
-
How much do you charge?
-
Since we charge by the project, we will have an estimator visit the work site to determine the full scope of work. While the work is often similar, no two jobs are the same. Schedule a site visit so our estimator can answer this question for YOUR solution.
-
-
How do I know you'll do what we discussed?
-
Every conversation either in person or on the phone is recorded and transcribed, eliminating any loss in translation or communication. This transcription is part of your "Proposal Package" and is key to everyone understanding precisely the project scope. This is also present on site with our team members so there is a clear objective and understanding. Everyone involved knows exactly what is being done and how. We also create a comprehensive and detailed work scope document as part of our contract.
-
-
Do you charge a deposit?
-
We do require a deposit to put your project on the calendar. It costs money to mobilize a team and the necessary equipment to your jobsite. A deposit ensures that all parties are committed to performing on schedule. Showing up to a jobsite that is not ready for us, or a change of mind without notice, ends up costing money that cannot be recovered. We run a tight ship, on target and in budget. Your deposit and signed contract is a guarantee for both of us.
-
-
Why don't contractors show up on time or finish jobs?
-
We love this question, and there could be one or several reasons, but this is more of a discussion than a quick answer.. While we can't speak to others' business practices, we can tell you how we operate. 1. Every employee believes in conducting business with integrity in every sense of the word 2. We charge enough to pay our crew livable wages or better. 3. We have a deposit and a contract that protects you AND us to ensure we're on time and in budget.
-
-
Won't heavy tractors damage our yard?
-
They can, and we've done some cleanup jobs left behind from other contractors. We do everything we can to protect your lawn from our machines by using protective track pads that are specifically designed to protect grass and soft earth from ruts and scarring.
-
-
Do you remove large trees?
-
We work closely with experienced arborists. If a large tree needs to be removed, we can coordinate with appropriate professionals who share our passion.
-
-
What if I want the stumps and roots removed?
-
We can do this. Like most things, there is more than one option. Our estimator will go over your options and inform you of the pros and cons of each.
-
-
Can you replant grass or other plants?
-
We are experts at removing vegetation, but not so good at installing new. You would be better served by hiring a landscaper to install fresh vegetation or grass.
-
-
If you just mulch to ground level won't everything just grow back?
-
Ahh, the wonderful thing about nature. It will survive. Some plants, trees, or vines certainly will return without regular maintenance or methods to kill or remove the root system. Schedule a site visit so we can determine the appropriate solutions to your particular problem.
-
-
Can you find property lines?
-
We work with property boundary locators or surveyors when property lines are obscure or unknown to ensure we do not encroach on neighboring properties. When working on commercial properties, we set durable marker posts with brightly colored reflective tips at the boundary points to make maintenance and future identification easier.
-
-
Do you haul off refuse or debris?
-
We can. Our equipment is uniquely suited for collecting and placing "stuff" in a dump trailer or dump box on your property. We can have one of these placed at your property to be removed when ready.
-
-
Loggers left a mess! Can you help?
-
Yes, please let us take care of this for you. We love going into areas that are just trashed, unsightly, and unsafe, and making an immediate transformation. We can mulch the leftover slash or logging residue and grind down the stumps. BONUS: We also provide road maintenance services.
-
-
Aren't there laws protecting the homeless, and how can you remove them and still sleep at night?
-
Absolutely! After all, they're humans too and deserve every right as the rest of us. Private property owners also have rights, one of which is to maintain their spaces. We collaborate with local and state organizations, such as Here Together Oregon, Central City Concern, and Street Roots, as well as law enforcement officials, to ensure the safe and compassionate removal of any unsafe or unsanitary debris left behind.
